Well Aware
Well Aware, Delta Gamma's wellness program, is a collection of programs, activities and references compiled to promote awareness and education on wellness topics. This program was created by Delta Gamma as a means of addressing critical issues that impact women at all stages of life. Women can be empowered to meet inevitable changes with healthy and knowledgeable life choices.
Wellness is the state of complete physical, mental and social well being. Well Aware resources address eight dimensions: Social, Spiritual, Physical, Emotional, Vocational, Intellectual, Financial, and Leadership. So how can you be better informed about wellness issues? The Well Aware program provides several tools to assist collegiate chapters, alumnae groups and individuals. Programs and activities can be located on this Web site. Additional wellness information is published five times a year in the Well Aware Update, Delta Gamma's wellness newsletter, and in the ANCHORA. The Personal Growth section of this web site links to several sites and a catalog of recent DG wellness articles has been compiled. You can also subscribe to our Well Aware listserve and receive a bimonthly wellness e-mail, which includes wellness tips, program ideas and alerts to new resources. If you would like to subscribe to the bimonthly wellness e-mail, please e-mail your full name and e-mail address to wellaware@deltagamma.org.
