Last semester a gang of ladies took on the WU Wire lifestyle and realized that broadcasting was the most fun you could have on a tuesday morning in Montag. The show they created was deliriously fun combo of crazy dialogue from one Lisa Mandel, musical stylings of Lo Holahan, and the intermitten appearances of Lindsey Wolf. It was entitled Vampires!Zombies!Dinosaurs! it was a smash hit with all 12 of its listeners.
However, tradegey struck in the fall of 2007. The spark and fire of the show, Miss Lisa Mandel, departed for an adventure south of the border. While Lisa gallavanted around in Ecuador, the former show needed a new angle, and some new friends. So... I, Lo Holahan, am proud to introduce ... (drum roll please) MEMOIRS OF A LISA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
this year's DJs will be Lo Holahan, Lindsey Wolf, and introducing Rachael Janny and Arley Oddo as the newest members of the broadcast crew. We will try to incorporate at least one Lisa Mandel story per broadcast, all mixed in with some flashy music from the Shins, Belle and Sebastian, Elliot Smith, Citizen Cope and other incredible musicians.
