Dear President Bush,

Last year for your first Presidents' Day holiday Students for Choice at Willamette University made a donation on your behalf to a clinic that provides abortions and other important medical services to women. Since your inauguration you have demonstrated a profound lack of compassion and respect for women and their reproductive health. You have re-instated the Global Gag Rule to prevent women overseas from having access to family planning and health services. You have nominated numerous anti-choice extremists to judicial posts along with anti-choice zealot John Ashcroft to the position of Attorney General. The sheer number of your transgressions against women's rights are too numerous to be listed here, but we will do everything we can to fight your dangerous, misogynistic, and regressive policies.

We do not expect you to change your opposition to safe and legal abortion, but your annual donation will help to provide women with all the necessary medical care that they need in order to exercise control over their bodies. For every year of your presidency and beyond, Students for Choice at Willamette University will work tirelessly to ensure that women maintain their right to self-determination. With this donation you will be helping to fund a clinic that will provide women with access to safe and legal abortion and many other medical services. They thank you for your support.
