GOALS of TAIKO CLUB

1. To learn the other cultural aspect from playing Taiko.

This club creates a fun and diverse environment to learn about Japanese culture and Taiko drumming.

2. For members to understand the difference of Japanese and American culture each other through playing Taiko.

This club also produces an atomosphere for members to be able to make cross-cultural friends.

3. Through the performance, to introduce Japanese traditional culture to the WU and Salem community.

The club performs at a variety of on-campus and off-campus events throughout the year not only to have a fun for ourselves, but also to share cultural "spirit" with various people through the experience of Taiko.

4. To release stress while student's studying time.

For players, it is only way to be very welcomed to release your stress by beating anything.

5. To have fun!

No previous experience is required to join this group because the key to playing Taiko is to have a great time!
