What is WEB?
WEB is short for the Willamette Events Board. WEB began as a single chair on the Associated Students of Willamette University (ASWU). As the demand for bigger and better programming on campus grew, it was decided that one person could not plan and run all on campus events. WEB began as a small board of students committed to providing campus programming that complements, reflects and responds to the Willamette University community. Since then, WEB has grown into a board of thirteen students whose goal continues to be to consistently provide high quality programming for Willamette students. Each of our board members chairs a different aspect of on campus programming. These different areas are Annual Events; Campus Events; Awareness, Discussion and Dialogue; Random Fun; American Studies Program Ambassador; Community Outreach; and Publicity. We are proud to serve Willamette's campus and have been recognized by the campus for our work by winning the Campus Outstanding Program or Event Award for two consecutive years.
