Our objective is to provide a supportive network for women who have an interest in economics. It is also a key goal to help educate the campus in economic related topics.

Since its establishment in 2004, the Women in Economics Club (WEC)has administered meetings, service projects and supplemented various speaker presentations. Our meetings not only plan future activities and offer tutoring, but address the issues which arise from being a minority in the field of economics.

Though we emphasize the encouragement of women to pursue this discipline, anyone is welcome to join!
