On the Cover
This handmade Waller Hall planter captures the spirit of "growing Willamette." Created in honor of the University's sesquicentennial, the planters were designed by Janene Allman, cashier, and built by Jim Ames and Tom Bader, physical plant, as centerpieces for a staff luncheon. A few can still be seen on campus, including this one borrowed from Liesa Kister at the Information Center in the University Center.
