“That’s my alma mater.” |
| I
just received the spring Scene and am really impressed –
by its graphics, photos, content and class notes. It encouraged
me to visit the website, which was one of the best in higher
education I’ve seen. (www.willamette.edu/scene) I was
touched by remembering my own interactions with the much-loved
Buzz Yocom ’49. You’ve produced a wonderful magazine
– one I’m proud to say, “That’s my
alma mater.” Congratulations and thank you.

Capturing
Enthusiasm |
I’d like to compliment you on your photography.
I love how you capture people’s enthusiasm, presence
and energy. I think your photos in the most recent Scene of
the eight Willamette professors were fabulous. I’m planning
on putting some of them in a collage I’m making, and
I’m very picky about photos I put in collages.
