 Blowing
in the wind: When it came to choosing their senior
gift, the answer was easy for the Class of 2004. Their selection,
a wind sculpture, now graces a spot next to the Mill Stream across
from Goudy Commons. Through effective grass-roots and online campaigning,
an impressive 22 percent of the senior class participated in raising
nearly $1,300 – exceeding their initial goal of $1,000. Seniors
were excited by the effort and the resulting outcome – which
has added another unique element to Willamette’s landscape.
