Alisa joined Willamette in 2007.
Education:

- M.A., Virginia Tech, Curriculum and Instruction
- Ph.D., Michigan State University, Teacher Education
Some of this faculty member’s accomplishments include:
- Co-Principal Investigator, Critical Discourse Analysis as a Pedagogical Tool to Promote Critically Reflective Thinking Among Teachers, Spencer Foundation Grant
- Multiple conference presentations at AERA, AACTE and ATE on a range of teacher education topics, including student teaching supervision and classroom diversity in both teacher education and public school classrooms.
- Publications on action research and service learning.
- Research interests include student teaching supervision and action research.
