Alisa joined Willamette in 2007.

Education:

  • M.A., Virginia Tech, Curriculum and Instruction
  • Ph.D., Michigan State University, Teacher Education

Some of this faculty member’s accomplishments include:

  • Co-Principal Investigator, Critical Discourse Analysis as a Pedagogical Tool to Promote Critically Reflective Thinking Among Teachers, Spencer Foundation Grant
  • Multiple conference presentations at AERA, AACTE and ATE on a range of teacher education topics, including student teaching supervision and classroom diversity in both teacher education and public school classrooms.
  • Publications on action research and service learning.
  • Research interests include student teaching supervision and action research.
