The Bearcat Alumni Challenge Raises Over $34k, Supporting Students and Faculty

A generous alumna from the Class of 1966 challenged alumni from the College of Liberal Arts to invest in Willamette students and professors before May 31. She graciously matched gifts dollar-for-dollar until Willamette alumni donated an additional $15,000 to the College of Liberal Arts.

Gifts made through this challenge:

  • Ensure scholarship support for students;
  • Provide needed resources for professors; and
  • Increase the value of the Willamette degree.

While we've met the Challenge, there is still some distance to cover in reaching our overall fundraising goal.  Please consider standing with the thousands of supporters this year with a gift to the College of Liberal Arts before May 31.
