The 305 acres at Zena Forest provide a research station for students and faculty from any academic discipline. The forest has been the site of numerous independent and class projects.
Zena Forest
Zena includes riparian areas, grasslands, wetlands and one of the few remaining oak woodlands in the Willamette Valley to not be converted to vineyards, housing or farmland.
Zena Farm
Willamette students started Zena Farm, where they use sustainable practices to grow vegetables, fruit and edible mushrooms — which frequently are served back on campus in Goudy Commons.
