Bookmarks

As you find interesting or useful resources, it would be handy to be able to reconnect to them again without having have to remember where or how you found them. Most Web browsers give you a way to keep track of Web sites you want to remember. Netscape Navigator calls this method bookmark; with Internet Explorer, it's called the "Favorites" list.

  • Make sure that the Web page you want to remember is displayed.
  • If you are using Netscape Navigator, from the Bookmark menu, select Add Bookmark.
  • If you are using Internet Explorer, from the Favorites menu, select Add to Favorites. It will then ask you to specify the name by which you want to remember the Web page.

When you open either the Bookmark or the Favorites menu later, the Web page is listed. Select it to go directly to that Web page.
