Using your Google Apps for Willamette University Account on Mobile Devices

There are many different devices supported by Google Apps for Education And there are several different methods of accessing or syncing your content with Google.

Server Settings
Depending on your device and the method you choose to use, you may need to manually enter some server settings. With Android devices, the setup is automatic, except for entering your username and password. Some other devices will detect Willamette's old mail server settings during the setup. You will need to make the necessary changes.
- Incoming Mail Server: imap.googlemail.com
- Port: 993
- Security: SSL or TLS
- username: your entire WU email address (e.g. asmith@willamette.edu)
- Outgoing Mail Server: smtp.googlemail.com
- Port: 465
- Security: SSL or TLS
- username: your entire WU email address (e.g. asmith@willamette.edu)
iPhone - iPad (iOS devices)
There are several ways to sync Google Apps for Education information to your iOS device
- Google Sync - Instructions and help for getting mail, calendars, and contacts on your iOS device
- Other Methods - Including IMAP or simply using the built-in Safari browser
- Calendar Sync selection - Once you've set up your Calendar, you can choose which calendars to show up on your phone:
- From your computer - visit this page on your computer's browser to select which calendars you will see on your phone

Android devices
