Network
Home Directory (H Drive)
Each
student and faculty member has a limited amount of disk
space on Willamette's network file server which may be accessed
from any computer that has network connectivity.
There
are three methods for accessing your network drive - choose
the one you prefer:
- Web
Browser FTP
- Network
Drive Mapping
- FTP
Client (for Windows
-or- for Macintosh)
What
if I'm not sure which method to use?
If
you're looking for an easy way to download files
from your network drive (at school, in your
room, off-campus) then using
your web browser to connect to your network
drive is the way to go. If you'd prefer that
your network drive appear and function as if
it were a drive on your local machine then you'll
want to skip ahead to the "mapping
a network drive section." Finally, if you
need a robust FTP program we've also made documentation
for Fetch
(Mac) and WS_FTP
(Windows) available.
