Willamette Web Printing - Windows 98 - 2000
Install the Web Printer Driver | Send a Job to Your Network Print Queue | Printing Documents Stored in Your Network Print Queue
Willamette Web Printing is for users with wireless laptop computers and those who do not have convenient access to a laser printer. Once the web printer driver is installed on your computer, you can send documents to your network print queue. When you are ready to print your documents, all you have to do is login to Willamette Web Printing, select a convenient printer, and print your documents. The instructions below cover installing the driver, sending a job to your queue, and printing. If you have any problems, contact the WITS Help Desk (x6767 or wits@willamette.edu).
Important Note: To use Willamette Web Printing, you must log in to Windows using your Willamette username and password. In Windows 2000, if your existing account does not use your Willamette username and password, then you will need to create a new account that does. To log in using your Willamette username and password (for Windows 98), or to create a new account (for Windows 2000), follow these instructions:
Install the Web Printer Driver
A laser printer driver compatible with all of the printers designated for web printing is installed and your network print queue is now enabled.
Send a Job to Your Network Print Queue

Note: If you have problems sending a print job (for example, you see an error message saying that you can't connect to \\home\webprint), then try mapping to your home directory first before sending your print job. For instructions on mapping to your home directory, please see: http://www.willamette.edu/wits/resources/docs/network/home/windows.htm
