The American Bar Association (ABA) requires an official transcript confirming receipt of a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution. It is recommended that you request your transcript no later than June 1, the deadline for a final seat reservation. Copies of your transcript previously sent to Law School Admission Council (LSAC) will not suffice. Please send your original, sealed copy of your transcript confirming your bachelor's degree to the following mailing address: Office of Admission, Willamette University College of Law, 245 Winter Street SE, Salem, OR 97301.
Completion of entrance loan counseling is a federal requirement that must be completed prior to any loan disbursement. Please complete your online entrance counseling at: www.studentloans.gov.

Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
Students may begin filling out the FAFSA on January 1, 2014. The deadline for submission is March 1, 2014. However, you may still be eligible for federal loans if you apply as soon as possible. File online or by submitting a paper FAFSA. Make certain you list Willamette University with our school code of 003227.
Tuition for the upcoming 2014-2015 Academic Year
Full time tuition for the 2013-2014 academic year is $36,210. Full time tuition for the 2014-2015 academic year will be communicated in late Spring. See Estimated law student budget figures.
Oregon State Law (ORS 333-19-080) requires all entering University students to show proof of two doses of measles vaccine (MMRs). A completed Health History form must be submitted to the Bishop Wellness Center prior to Orientation. Students who have not fulfilled these state requirements are not permitted to attend class. Please see Bishop Wellness Center's Health Services for more information.
All students who are half time or more are required to carry health insurance. Student health insurance is billed automatically through the business office at the beginning of each academic year. Students who have other coverage may elect to sign a waiver to opt out of the student insurance plan. This waiver must be submitted within 10 days from the first day of class each year. Go to Bishop Wellness Center: Health Services for this waiver.The dates of coverage for the 2013-14 academic year is Fall 2013: August 1, 2013 -January 5, 2014 and Spring/Summer 2014: January 6, 2014 - July 31, 2014.
