Summer Introduction to Law Program

Our special two week Introduction to Law program is an intensive two-week program intended to give participants a better understanding of the legal system and of the analytical skills needed to understand and analyze legal problems. More information about the program and how to apply will be available in the Spring.

Orientation: Aug. 20-22, 2014

Orientation for incoming first-year students will take place 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 20 through Friday, Aug. 22, 2014, in the Truman Wesley Collins Legal Center. Attendance is required. Class sections will be assigned, class schedules will be handed out and the opportunity to purchase books will be available during this time. Please contact the Office of Admission to update your current mailing address, as there will be a mid-July mailing with information regarding the specifics of orientation.

Special Orientation for Family Members: Aug. 21, 2014

The Joint Venture Program, an early evening special orientation conducted for family members of first-year law students, is always a popular event. More information on this event will be available in early Summer 2014.

Fall Semester Classes Begin: Aug. 25, 2014

All students begin fall 2014 semester classes on Monday, August 25.
