New Online Continuing Legal Education Program for Alumni
In our continued effort to demonstrate the lifelong value of your Willamette College of Law degree, we are pleased to begin offering free and low-cost CLEs to our alumni, both through live presentations offered at Willamette several times throughout the academic year, and via our new online CLE database, which features on-demand streaming of our programs. Our CLEs will be presented by members of our outstanding faculty, as well as by esteemed members of the bench and bar throughout the region.
Our first on-demand programs are available now, featuring some of the most sought-after credits: Access to Justice, Child Abuse Reporting, and Ethics. The programs have been approved for CLE credit by the Oregon State Bar. In the coming months, we also plan to submit programs for accreditation in Washington and Idaho.
We will offer most of these programs to our alumni for free for as long as our resources allow. Of course, we would welcome contributions to help offset costs. To that end, we will offer two coupon codes to our alumni – WUCL100 for those wishing to take a program for free, and WUCL50 for those who would like to receive 50 percent off the list price. A contribution to the Law Fund is another great way to pay it forward. Non-alumni are welcome to attend our live programs and access the on-demand CLEs in our database at the full list price.
We appreciate your ongoing involvement with your alma mater and hope that we can continue to play a role in your professional education throughout your career.
