Study in China
![]()
“This program is fantastic. It not only exposed us to Chinese law but to the Chinese way of life as well.”
Willamette's summer study abroad is the oldest law school program in China. It will celebrate its milestone 25th anniversary in 2009. As the premier exchange program, it has served as a model for other study abroad programs in China. The host school, the East China University of Politics and Law, is China's leading institution in the burgeoning fields of trade and investment. The school is located in Shanghai, China's largest city, leading port and commercial trade center. Each year the program involves students, primarily from the United States, Australia and Canada, but also from South Korea, the Netherlands, Switzerland and elsewhere.
2009 Program
The monthlong summer program will run June 15 to July 12, 2009, in Shanghai.
