Willamette Sports Law Journal
Publications I Submission I Contact Us
The Willamette Sports Law Journal is an online student-run publication devoted to those areas where sports and the law overlap. Sports law is an open concept drawing on many areas of law, but with a specific focus on how it affects leagues, players, colleges, and fans. Article topics range broadly from Title IX, to torts in sports, to anti-trust and labor law issues.
The Journal published its first issue in 2004 and became the first sports law journal in the Northwest. We continue to publish bi-yearly, in the winter and spring. Our goal is to provide students, educators, practitioners, and others with timely, well-written commentary and analysis about the always exciting and evolving field of sports law.
