Library Carrels

Policy

All law students who wish to have an assigned carrel must have an enrolled law student carrel partner, both of whom confirm the arrangement with the library. Carrel assignments will be by lottery and are valid until May 31 of the following year unless relinquished or revoked for failure to comply with the terms of the permit.

Carrel Use & Etiquette

  • Do not leave valuable items on your carrel
  • Maintain a silent study environment.  Conference rooms are available for discussions.
  • If your partner is using the carrel, use another available library seat.
  • The area surrounding the carrel is not to be used for storage.
  • Cell phone calls, food and open beverage containers are not allowed at the carrels.
  • Please check out all materials or they will be reshelved.
  • Please do not reshelve materials; leave them on the book trucks.
