Law Library Mission Statement

The College of Law Library is a service organization whose primary mission is to provide Willamette law students and faculty with information access and research support in a professional library environment.

To this end, we provide:

  • a repository for scholarly monographs
  • a sanctuary for reflection, study, research and writing
  • digital content on demand at any time, any place, by simultaneous multiple users through internet protocol (IP) access
  • information delivery, including access to print resources through consortia lending agreements
  • reference services, both real time and virtual
  • specialized research instruction
  • 24/7 access to the library
  • rules and procedures based on an honor code
  • spacious facilities
