Faculty Retirements
Professors Kathy T. Graham and Richard B. Hagedorn JD'73 will step down from full-time teaching at the end of the spring semester. Both will continue to teach on a part-time basis for the next three years, officially retiring in May 2013.
Professor Graham has taught domestic relations and torts at Willamette since joining the law faculty in 1977. She has served as associate dean for Academic Affairs since 1988.
A business law expert specializing in debtor-creditor issues, Professor Hagedorn joined the Willamette law faculty in 1984. He was appointed the Rosalind Van Winkle Melton Professor of Law in 2003.
Legal Research and Writing Instructor M.H. "Sam" Jacobson also will retire from the law school in May. She has served on the law faculty since 1989.
