will you help me if I need it

Willamette University recognizes that cost may be a concern as you plan to invest in your educational goals. Addressing how you can finance a quality education may at first seem overwhelming. Taken one step at a time, however, the process does not need to be mysterious or confusing. The staff of the Office of Financial Aid is committed to making the process as simple as possible. We are available to assist you with any questions you may have, help you understand the financial aid programs available, and guide you through the application process.

As the primary beneficiary of the investment in your college education, we believe that you and your family are ultimately responsible for financing your education. Understandably, many families cannot afford the entire cost of college. Financial aid, therefore, is available to help fill the gap between what you and your family are expected to provide and what it will cost to attend Willamette University. We believe that our generous merit and need based scholarship programs, combined with student loans and part time employment, can make a Willamette University education affordable.

Reasonable Cost, Tremendous Value
"I've had the personal attention of first-rate teachers and scholars from the minute I stepped onto the Willamette campus, and I have had a far more intense and worthwhile education because of it. It has been worth every penny my parents and I have paid."

Brian Hufft '01
