Campus-wide Student Services

Housing

Although most School of Education students live off-campus, limited on-campus housing for graduate students is available. On-Campus Living Off-Campus Living

Food Services

Goudy Commons is a state-of-the-art dining facility for the Willamette University community. The variety of foods and multiple serving areas create a dining experience which more closely models a commercial restaurant than a university cafeteria. The Bistro Willamette and the Bearcat Cavern are also popular on-campus dining facilities. Bon Appetit Food Service

Fitness and Recreation

Sparks Center houses a swimming pool, handball/racquetball courts, a weight room, gymnasium and locker facilities. Outdoor tennis courts and an all-weather track are available. Organized fitness and recreation activities include intramurals and aerobics classes. Athletic Facilities Campus Recreation

University Center

Putnam University Center houses the campus bookstore, mail services, a snack bar, the Bistro Willamette, an automatic teller machine, a credit union branch and a convenience store. Meeting rooms and lounge areas are also available for the use of the University community.

Health and Counseling Services

Short-term medical and counseling services are available through the University’s Health Center and Counseling Center. Health insurance covering illness may be purchased. Coverage for spouse and dependents is available at additional cost. Bishop Wellness Center

Multicultural Student Affairs

Willamette University’s Office of Multicultural Student Affairs provides a variety of services for minority and non-traditional students. Services include campus orientation, social activities, cultural/personal counseling and tutoring. Multicultural Student Affairs

Services for Students with Disabilities
