ASWU Sound

The Associated Students of Willamette University had a vision to provide quality sound equipment for a diverse number of groups and set-ups at a significantly lower price than local businesses (free for ASWU recognized organizations). This vision has resulted in ASWU Sound

Please provide all the following information to request the sound system. There is no cost to use the system except for the specific uses that can be found in the Equipment use rules. You will be required to sign a contract of liability for any damage the system sustains during your event. If you do not give 7 to 10 days advance notice, we cannot guarantee your use of the system and a charge of $50 will be assessed.

**At least a half hour will be added to your program start time for set-up of sound equipment at this event. A half-hour will be added to your total ASWU Sound rental time (for set-up)--this should be considered part of your 5 hour limit. Any set-up time exceeding a half hour will be free or addressed in the ASWU Sound Agreement Contract with your Organization.

End time of event (do not include break-down time after event end)
**At least a half hour will be added to your program end time for break-down of sound equipment at this event. A half-four will be added to your total ASWU Sound Rental Time ( for break-down)--this should be considered part of your 5 hour limit. Any break-down time exceeding a half hour will be free or addressed in the ASWU Sound Agreement Contract with your Organization.

Description of Event


Prior to your event, you will receive an ASWU Sound Use Agreement (contract) in your campus mail box. You must sign and return the agreement two days prior to your scheduled event or your event will not receive sound. You will receive a confirmation e-mail from the Sound Coordinator when your request is received. You will then receive a confirmation phone call or e-mail from your event’s scheduled Sound Technician within two days prior to your event.
