The reports are in and once again Phi Delt beat out the fraternities for the highest GPA again. The men had an average GPA of 3.302, which was also higher then the all men average of 3.146, and the all Greek average of 3.205. Beta Theta Pi was the next closest with a 3.084 meaning that Phi Delt was the only fraternity above the all Greek and all men average. Phi Delt also impressed the University by beating the all University average of 3.263. The report, released by Residence Life earlier this semester, also showed that Phi’s living in the house had a higher GPA of 3.332 compared to those off campus who averaged a 3.238. These numbers just continue the tradition
of Phi Delta Theta domination in the class room something that we strive to instill in anyone who joins that Chapter. The rest of the Fraternities fell in as follows, Beta Theta Pi 3.084, Sigma Chi 3.021, Sigma Alpha Epsilon 2.948, and Kappa Sigma had a 2.930 before their Charter was pulled by their national office. Kei Otawa the current scholarship Chair hopes to continue this trend with work done to the study room in the basement and with study tables for the members and new Phikeia.
