Course Objectives:

  • Learn to read, understand, and compose mathematical proofs 

  • Learn to distinguish valid arguments from invalid arguments  

  • Practice formulating logical arguments

  • Strengthen our analytic reasoning, and writing skills

In addition to these objectives, this course should introduce students to higher mathematics and give them a better understanding of what mathematical research entails.
