on the Willamette University campus in Salem, Oregon, USA.
is the Hatfield Library's liaison to several units of Willamette University in Portland & Salem:
the Atkinson Graduate School of Management;
the School of Education; the
Economics department; the Psychology department, the
Rhetoric & Media Studies department, and the
Center for Governance and Public Policy Research. Gary's office
is located inside the Hatfield Library (on the First Floor, near the windows facing the parking lot).
Mr. Klein's primary responsibility is to assist students and
faculty in fulfilling their information needs. The range of services provided includes:
assistance in detailed subject specific assistance, locating statistical data,
guidance in evaluating & selecting appropriate resources, and creating
course related instruction on using information resources. His secondary responsibilities
are providing general reference and instruction services to the entire Willamette
community, and helping the Hatfield Library maintain quality control over its
vendor supplied databases.

During the Summer 2013 season, Gary's general hours are Mon-Thu, 9am--6pm and on Friday 9am--1pm.
During the Fall 2013 semester, Gary's general hours on the WU Salem campus
- Mon, Tue and Thu = 9:00am -- 6:00pm
- Wednesdays = 1pm -- 10pm
- Fri = 9:00am -- 1:00pm
Appointments can be arranged during these or at other mutually convenient
times by request with Mr. Klein.
