Note that "vanishing of the first derivative" is an old-fashioned way of saying that the derivative equals zero.)

Here's an old final exam from Fall 2004.  [You will need the free Adobe PDF reader, usually already installed on most computers.]
       As you might imagine, the course has changed slightly since 2004, so there are items on the exam that we didn't cover this term. 
       I have marked them, and changed a few other problems to make them into topics we did cover this term. 
       Finally, at the end, I have a list of (some of) the items we covered this term that are not covered on this old final. 
       (Every final leaves out something, but my list at the end are items that I will certainly consider putting on this semester's exam).
       (Oooh, look, an answer key!)
