Here's a few samples. These are all based on difficult projects, and reflect superior work.
This was the last project assigned in Calculus II, spring 1997. I selected this paper because the writing is excellent: in its clarity, in its completeness, and in the degree to which the computations and the prose are seamlessly integrated.

This was the third and last project assigned in Vector Calculus, fall 1995. Although this paper is written in a question-answer format, the creative way this format is used, and the professional quality of the writing (not to mention the humor) is very good.
This project required the analysis of the motion of a beverage can throw
from a space station. The resulting motion is very tricky to describe.
In addition to a well-written report, this group created a movie in the
form of a "flip-book" to illustrate that motion. I felt this
showed exceptional initiative. Now through the wonders of
technology, you can watch that "flip-book"
on your computer screen.
