Crossing the Willamette River in Salem by bicycle

From West Salem, southbound on Wallace, taking the bridge to downtown

                                     -and-

from downtown to northbound Wallace Rd:

Transitioning from the bridge, eastbound, to southbound on Commercial St.

   (the yellow loop is optional if you don't like the sudden U-turn)
Be careful with the final turn onto Commercial, the cars turning right off the bridge won't expect you.

From downtown, northbound on Front street (from Court or Chemeketa) toward West Salem:

DON'T take the automobile onramp; the bike path turns off Front just BEFORE the auto onramp.
Again, the yellow loop is optional if you don't like the sudden U-turn.
