                  Chapter Exams:                  8 - 9 @ 40 points                  320 – 360

                                                               Total Possible:                  580 – 660

Grade will be determined by total points,

but will NOT be based on fixed, pre-determined percentages.

(However, 90% guarantees some kind of A, 80% some kind of B, etc)

The final will be used as a tie-breaker when necessary.

Group work:  The Daily Worksheets will generally be done in groups of two or three.

A single worksheet with all members’ names will be handed in for credit.                    (Minority reports are OK if the group can’t reach consensus.)

Make-up Work:  If a chapter exam must be missed for a University approved event or for some

other reason considered valid by the instructor a make-up exam can be taken.

However there must be prior notification and agreement that a student will

need the make-up.  Worksheets cannot be made up.
