Pol 480W: Senior Thesis in Political Theory |
|
|
|
The senior thesis represents the culmination
of each student's undergraduate education at WU. The purpose of this course
is to provide a structured environment in which the student will undertake
this analytical research and writing project. The student will be responsible
for the development of a clear, concise, coherent, and logical thesis
argument, 'original' research that goes beyond summaries of books and
articles, analysis of competing claims, and a presentation format worthy of
his/her advanced knowledge of political science methodologies. Through the
duration of the course, the research design, methods of analysis, and written
presentation will be subjected to multiple stages of criticism and revision. |
