This picture, made by a pre-Pentium machine, is a Julia pattern given by the dynamical system
zn+1 = zn2 + p
with p = (0.26, 0) over a rectangular area in a small neighborhood of the point (0.15, 0.92). The point p is just outside the Mandelbrot set near its right-hand "cusp". The divergence scheme alone is used for this image.
