Welcome to the Physiology of Exercise class!

Ladies and gentlemen welcome to the class web site for ExSci 360 - Physiology of Exercise, one of the most exciting, fun, and challenging classes you can possibly take at any University! I promise you we will try to address everything you wanted to know about training, body systems responding to exercise, performance, and metabolism.

Objective: This class examines the physiological systems of the human body as they are affected by different types of exercise. Emphasis is placed on the interrelationships of the skeletal, muscular, nervous, respiratory, circulatory, endocrine, and digestive systems. The required laboratory will focus on measuring and analyzing various anthropometric, physiological and metabolic functions and using the data to predict and describe work capacity and training protocols. Note: This class has two prerequisites: BIO 246 (Human Anatomy) and BIO 260 (Human Physiology). The class is no longer writing-centered.
