Crow's Shadow Institute of the Arts and the Hallie Ford Museum of Art

It is fitting and appropriate that the Hallie Ford Museum of Art should partner with the Crow’s Shadow Institute of the Arts to celebrate Crow’s Shadow’s twenty-fifth anniversary in 2017 with a major exhibition and book. From its inception in 1998, the Hallie Ford Museum of Art has been dedicated to the collection, preservation, exhibition, and interpretation of historic and contemporary Native American art, with an emphasis on the art of the region. Moreover, from 2006 to 2014, the Hallie Ford Museum of Art organized biennial exhibitions of prints produced at Crow’s Shadow during the previous two years, and since 2012 has been the official repository for the Crow’s Shadow Print Archive, which includes one example of each print produced at Crow’s Shadow since 2001. The ties and ongoing relationship between the two organizations remain deep, committed, and strong.
