Brenda Noland is a collaborative pianist from Salem, Oregon. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in music from Corban University in 1995 and has served as their staff accompanist from 2006 to the present, bringing her sensitive interpretation to collaborative works with a wide range of instrumentalists and solo vocalists. She has also worked with choirs at three local high schools, and accompanies several students each year at Solo & Ensemble Contest, including several state winners. Before moving into professional accompanying, she taught private piano to students of all ages and counts this teaching experience as invaluable training for her collaborative work. In her free time she edits books for a local publishing company and maintains more blogs than are strictly necessary. Brenda lives in Salem with her family and two opinionated cats.
