Biography

A long-time veteran of Pentacle Theatre, who has been involved with them for more than twenty years, Larry Roach is one of the most recognized and admired actors in Salem. Roach, made his acting debut in 1987 in a production of “Arsenic and Old Lace” at Pentacle, more recently he has performed as Uncle Ben in Death of a Salesman, Senex in A Funny Things Happened on the Way to the Forum, and in Inherit the Wind. Larry Roach has begun to branch into directing, in the past few years he has directed Grace and Glorie, Amadeus, Driving Miss Daisy, The Price, Three Tall Women, Gross
Indecency, Enchanted April and Betty the Yeti. He was also Assistant Director for the musical "Metropolis".

Recently he also directed a
 benefit performance for the Oregon Northwest Black Pioneers, a presentation, Crowns: Portraits of Black Women in Church Hats, by Michael Cunningham and Craig Marberry.
