Museum holds teacher workshop and gallery talks for "Critical Messages" exhibit
In conjunction with "Critical Messages: Contemporary Northwest Artists on the Environment," the Hallie Ford Museum of Art will offer gallery talks and a teacher workshop.
Visit Tuesdays from 12:30-1 p.m. for gallery talks through Nov. 2, 2010. Admission is free.
Cameron Paulin Curator of Education Elizabeth Garrison will lead a teacher workshop Sept, 14, 2010 from 4-5:30 p.m. at the museum. The workshop is designed to help teachers prepare students for a field trip to the exhibition, develop strategies that reinforce the gallery experience and broaden curricular concepts. A teacher guide will also be available on the museum's website Sept. 16, 2010.Admission to the workshop is free, although registration is required. To register, please call (503) 370-6855.
