The Spark! Newsletter seeks to streamline and synergize communication and advocacy regarding social justice, equity, wellness, and environmental issues at Willamette University. Core goals include providing leadership opportunities, coalition building, and fostering better communication between groups and students. The newsletter has three interconnected sections within the larger publication: 1) environment, 2) social justice and equity, and 3) wellness. These groupings serve to establish roles for publishing a frequent newsletter in an organized manner, as "The Spark!" contributors recognize the intersection of these areas and the central role they all must play in creating equitable initiatives and change.
