Schedule a Campus Visit

There are several ways you can schedule your campus visit. Feel free to call the Office of Admission toll free at 1-877-LIBARTS, email us at libarts@willamette.edu or use our online visit form. Please allow at least a week's advance notice so we can make the appropriate arrangements.

While we welcome campus visitors year-round, it is usually most helpful to visit while school is in session. We're happy to arrange class visits, overnight stays and meetings with professors or coaches. Just let us know what you're interested in doing and we'll set it up.

We always encourage students to meet with an admission counselor. This is the best way for us to learn about some of the qualities you could bring to campus as a Willamette student, and it is also an appropriate time for you to ask any questions you have for us. We will recommend meeting with students first, but family members are always welcome to join in afterwards for questions.

Also, if you are able to schedule an interview during your visit, we request that you bring along an unofficial transcript. This helps us get a sense of your academic load and how you've done so far.

Summer Update:

The Office of Admission will implement a slightly revised schedule over the summer months (May through the end of August). Summer office hours are from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday - Friday. Campus tours will be offered at 9:00 a.m., 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. Information sessions for students who would prefer an informative meeting to an interview will be offered at 10:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.

General guidelines

  • The Office of Admission is open weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and most Saturdays during the academic year from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
  • Tours on weekdays are generally available at 9 a.m., 10 a.m., 11 a.m., 1 p.m., 2 p.m. and 3 p.m. Tours on Saturdays begin at 10 a.m. and 12 p.m. Tours depart from the Office of Admission lobby.
  • An interview with an admission counselor may be scheduled weekdays from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. except during the noon hour.
  • Class visits are encouraged if your schedule permits; classes generally meet weekdays between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m.
  • We receive the greatest number of requests for overnight stays in March and April.
  • Applicants for the coming fall semester receive priority when we set up accommodations. We can usually accommodate all of our visitors, but in some cases we will be restricted due to facilities and/or personnel available to us. Giving us advance notice, particularly in the busiest months, is the best bet.
  • Overnight stays and class visits are unavailable during winter and spring breaks, final exams, holidays, after the last day of classes, and during mid-semester break.
  • Mid-Semester Break ('07) is Oct. 18-21.
  • Winter Break ('07-'08) is Dec. 16 to Jan. 14. Last day of classes is Dec. 7.
  • Spring Break ('08) is March 24-28.
