  • How much will it cost?
    • Program costs vary, depending on destination. The program includes the course GSM 7261G, an elective course. The Program Fee covers the trip cost only and does not include tuition for GSM 7261G. There is no tuition charge for the 1-credit class. For the 4-credit class, standard tuition charges will apply. This program is eligible for financial aid. See the specific trip on the home page for more information.
  • What is included?
    • Program Costs include a 7-night hotel stay [double-occupancy]; breakfasts and one dinner; local transportation and local guide. For the program course, GSM 7261G, there is no tuition charge for the 1-credit class. For the 4-credit class, standard tuition charges will apply.
  • What does a typical program entail?
    • Visit companies and not-for-profit organizations in the target country, plus additional visits to cultural sites. 
  • What other costs are there?
    • Participants are responsible for airfare, passport and visa fees, ground transportation to/from airports; non-included meals; insurance; personal expenses, etc.
  • Who is eligible?
    • be enrolled in a Willamette MBA degree program or an MBA alumnus
    • be in good academic standing with a minimum graduate coursework cumulative GPA of 3.0
    • be in good standing within the Atkinson School Expectations of Conduct and the Willamette University Standards of Conduct
    • for the Fall semester program, first-year MBA students are eligible to take GSM 7261G as a 1-credit class only
  • What are the dates?
    • The program begins at 8:00 a.m. local time on a Sunday and end on a Friday evening. Students should plan to arrive and depart on Saturdays.
  • Do I have to be registered for the course?
    • Yes, you must take GSM-7261G. GSM 7261G is a 4-credit or a 1-credit, graded course. Students choose the 4-credit version or the 1-credit version, depending on their needs and interests. Credits for this course will count toward graduation requirements.
  • May my spouse/friend/child travel with me?
    • No, as this may detract from the intended goal(s) of the program.
