Overview
Al Akhawayn University located in the city of Ifrane, Morocco was established in 1993. This modern and small university offers students academic stimulus and an involved campus life. Visit the Office of International Programs website to see photos and learn more about student life at AUI.
Academics
Almost all classes at AUI are offered in English. Students interested in International Studies and politics should consider Al Akhawayn. Most other majors are available as well. See a full list of departments. All students are required to take one Arabic course while in Ifrane.
Housing
Most of the students at Al Akhawayn live on campus, as do most exchange students. Students will live in double rooms with single baths and share common rooms and kitchens. A meal plan is provided.
Dates
The Al Akhawayn program is available in both the fall and spring semester. The fall semester starts late August and ends late December. The spring semester starts late January and ends mid-May.
